Hey from Ollantaytambo!

Yesterday we arrived at our hostel after coming down from Qenqo. We then quickly hopped into vans to head to the Moray ruins where we began our bike ride. The Moray is a large, symmetrical structure built by the Incans as a method to grow different plants, including corn and potatoes. Each terrace was its own microclimate.

After visiting the Moray, we headed down the mountain on our bikes. While at first intimidating, it turned out to be an unreal ride with a scenic view of the Andes the whole way down.

Perhaps the most exciting event on Friday was that we all got to take our first showers since Pisaq! We are all feeling great and can’t wait for the next two weeks to come!
